Date's and Accomplishments

I have a lot of updates, so be patient with me! Miles and I have been having so much fun spending time together, so there are lots of pictures! We've enjoyed walks to the lakes to feed the baby ducks. They are so dang cute. I love feeding them!

We've also been barbecuing on Sunday's with our Pinnacle friends. The boys go and play football while the girls talk and relax. Our apartments are so nice, we love it. I'm starting to bronze a little which is nice! I feel so much better with a tan. We love our friends here. They make the whole experience so much more fun, and less stressful. The one thing I've always
hated about Miles going to work all day is that I have to do everything on my own. Go grocery shopping, run errands, cook, etc. but it's so nice to have friends to do things with. It makes my days go a little faster and a lot less lonely.

A few weekends ago a group of Pinnacle friends went into Sacramento to a club called Barcode. For friends in high school it will be no surprise how much fun I had dancing, but for those of you that knew me in college, that will probably come as a shock. I guess all those parties just kind of sucked the fun out of it? But none the less, Miles and I had so much fun dancing together.

Miles and I went on a Scandia date last weekend. It was so much fun. We love arcade games and the Screamer!
And finally, (congratulations on making it to the end!) one of Miles incentives was tickets to the Mets/Giants game for last night. We decided that to manage our time better, I would go out
knocking with Miles at 11 and we would head for San Francisco at 4. The picture is of me in my Pinnacle getup ready to hit the doors! Now I've always thought I appreciated all that Miles does for me, and I've always thought I knew how hard his job was. But it's completely different when you're out there knocking. I watched him build relationships with people in a matter of seconds out of know where so that they would listen to and trust him. He approached there doors, he'd approach them pruning their roses, he walked into their place of business. He had no fear, which is something that I completely admire because I was obviously extremely timid and for the most part silent. I watched him get rejected, sometimes through a metal screen door (without even seeing their faces) and I watched him succeed (and get two sales while we were out there!) I think I really learned how much that job takes out of you. It was a hot day too! I was ready to give up after a few rejections, which is why I think I can finally say that I really appreciate everything Miles does for me, and I can appreciate the hard work these summer sales guys do!
After we were done selling for the day we headed into the city. Our first stop was the mini donut place on Pier 39. We've basically been craving them since our honeymoon. They are divine! Seriously, go get some. After that we walked back to the car to get ready for the game. MILES WORE A METS HAT which for some might seem like some small feet, but I am a big Mets fan, so to have Miles wear the hat to a Giants game is huge! Whether he did it just to make me happy or because he genuinely wanted to doesn't even matter! Although I will say, and he would have to admit, he did cheer for the Mets the entire game. And it was a great game! The Mets won 7-4 (which always makes things better) and our seats were amazing! We were 19 rows from the field by first base, but better yet, we were 19 rows and just to the right of the visitors dugout, oh so close to David Wright. It was such a fun day, I got to spend the entire day with my hubby, whom I love and adore and LOVE spending time with, and we got to see the Mets win! We've had a great few weeks here in California.
