Dear Momma Greer,
I wish I could do more than send you a little something to know I'm thinking of you and writing a blog post, I wish I could give you a big giant hug and tell you I love you. It's hard being literally across the country from one of you best friends, but I guess this will have to do for now. You have been my best friend, my shoulder to cry on, my teacher, my nurse when I'm sick, my confidant, and my greatest example of patience, humility, and unconditional love. Anything good or worth while I've learned has been from you and your example. I've learned that I'm much stronger than I could have imagined, I've learned that sometimes when you're losing your faith is when you really need it the most. I've learned that 3,000 miles can be bridged with love. I've learned that your mom can be your best friend. I've learned that I can call you at 2 in the morning to tell you about a fun date I went on and you're never grouchy or telling me you were sleeping. I've learned that you are the best secret-keeper. I've learned that no matter how many times I mess up or how many times I break your heart you always love me, you will always hug me, and you always make it better. I've learned that a mother's love can heal broken hearts and scraped knees. Thank you for everything you teach me. One day, in the near future, I'll get to raise a few children of my own, and I hope it do it just like you.
Love,
Chelsey.
Dear Momma Sue,
I'm writing you this little blog (one of my first blogs) to express my love and appreciation for you. I've always been a momma's boy and looked up to you as a hero of mine. Your example has led me to touch others lives and find a softer side of myself. I can remember as a young boy having mother son nights out with you. Spending time with you doing fun things was like being with a best friend. Through the years you have always been there for me, encouraging me and leading me to always be my best. Some of my favorite memories with you were laughing and creating silly inside jokes. Mothers day was always one of my favorite days on the mission. Im so thankful that we have the relationship and bond that we share. No one could ever take that away. I love you.
